Customers find us in various ways, some online, some pass our store and for others it is by word of mouth from friends.
We thought this tale was a particularly interesting one (and it has a happy ending too!)…
A young lady was on holiday in Europe with her boyfriend when he proposed to her. She decided to waste no time and shop online for an engagement ring even though she was sunbathing on the beach. Out came her iPad and access to the AC Silver online store.
The young lady in question saw a ring she liked, and before you could say the word ‘engagement’, her mother had travelled from Scotland to our Newcastle store to view the ring and decide whether it was what her daughter was looking for.
Looking very pleased and impressed, the mother left our store. Suffice to say, a week later her daughters fiancé rang the store, paid for the ring and it was shipped off to London!!
It just goes to show how you can connect with customers in many ways and how accessible internet shopping is now becoming, so much so that you can browse the AC Silver store on your tablet while sunbathing on holiday!
